MECCA

MUSLIM FERVOUR AT MECCA
COUNTRY: SAUDI ARABIA
PLACE: MECCA, EAST OF THE COUNTRY

The city of Mecca is very famous among Muslim people and it is the place where they do their prayer which is the Haj. The city is located in the Makkah Province of Saudi Arabia in the legendary Hejaz region.

The city has a population of about 1294167 people and is about seventy three miles away from the city of Jeddah. The Red sea is just 50 miles from the city and because of its geographical location the sandy Mecca experiences a very hot weather. Therefore lack of green foliage and extensive expanse of sand make the days extremely hot and dry but cooler at night.

Non-Muslims are not permitted to enter Mecca by Saudi law.The Saudi government uses the following verse as a Qur’an confirmation for this law; however, there are other interpretations to this verse. The existence of cities closed to non-Muslims and the mystery of the Hajjs aroused intense curiosity in people from around the world. Some have disguised themselves as Muslims and entered the city of Mecca and then the Grand Mosque to experience the Hajj for them. The Kaaba is the ancient stone building towards which all Muslims pray.

So, let make a trip to Mecca!! because so many thing can be found there and it must be very interesting.
