Officially Machu Picchu was discovered in 1911 by American explorer-historian Hiram Bingham. Since then it has become the World-wide renowned mystery travel destination that we know today and in 2007 Machu Picchu was voted one of the New 7 Wonders of the World.

The first place that i would like to share is the Inca City of Machu Picchu where it is very unique city in the world. This city begin about 500 years ago when the Spanish conquistadores, led by Francisco Pizarro, had raided, burned and demolished Inca cities, but  Machu Picchu had remained 
undiscovered, thus untouched.

Well, for many photographers visiting Machu Picchu, it is like where dream come true because so many wonderful photos can be taken and the photos will be very beautiful.

For me, visiting Machu Picchu is possible by hiking in the Andean Mountains along the Inca Trail or by combining train and bus transportation all the way up to the site.The most exciting way is to get there through the Andes because it lasts about 4 days of travelling and we will get to see wonderful sights.

By the way, any travel needs careful planning and preparing, especially if we are arriving from far away
because we need to hike to the city.
